Chato College of Health Sciences and Technology is the Health training Institute which established under government establishment act (NACTE-establishment Act No. 9 of 1997) and other related regulation to run its activities since 2015. It is fully registered and fully accredited institute by the National council for Technical Education (NACTE) after having fulfilled the prescribed requirements with registration number REG/HAS/158 to offer Basic Technician Certificate (NTA Level 4) to ordinary Diploma (NTA Level 6) in Health related fields including Clinical Medicine, and Pharmaceutical Sciences and other VET registered programmes such as Information and Communication Technology and Business Operational Assistant. The College Governance body has the mandate to direct the management on the running of institution in accordance with the government standards in order to comply with academic quality improvement as set by the Government authority to ensure provision of quality academic services.

On behalf of the Governing Body of the Chato College of health sciences and technology, The Body of Directors, Executive committee, and all respective departments and the CCOHEST communities, you are warmly welcome to our Institute that offers value-added teaching and learning environment across the range of professional competence provided at our college departments. 

Chato College of health sciences and technology is located Along with chato cotton ginnery,bwina road,mbuye street,Bwina ward at Chato township, in Geita Region near the most attractive lake Victoria, about one kilometre from chato district hospital and chato zonal consultant hospital providing the college a unique scenery for students' practical competencies. We offer you a platform to gain critical insights and practical competencies and skills to succeed as the way to professionalism.
